Change of calendar events

Please note that the following changes have been made in the scheduled calendar events of the next month.

Tuesday 23 Falgun – Leave weekend starts at 4 pm

Friday 26 Falgun - Trial Exams for A2 starts

Sunday 28 Falgun – District Level Exam starts at 11 am

All students (other than class 8 and A2) return to school by 5 pm

Monday 29 Falgun – Second Semester Examinations start for all classes

Friday 3 Chaitra – Examinations end for class 5- students may go home after 12 noon

Monday 6 Chaitra – All examinations end, students may go home after exams

School strongly encourages every student to stay behind at the school and revise for exam during the leave weekend.

School Day 2068

Budhanilkantha School celebrated its 40th School Day on Saturday, 18 February 2012.

The Chief Guest of the programme was Hon’ble Dinanath Sharma, Minister of Education.

The Programme was chaired by Mr. Janardan Nepal, the Joint Secretary to Ministry of Education and Officiating Chairman of BOT and SMC.

Educational exhibition started at 9:30 am and the stage programme at 2:45 pm.

The highlight of the programme, beside prize distribution to the meritorious students, was the felicitation of Professor Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma, Professor Dr. Tejratna Kansakar, Professor Dr. Chanda Karki, Engineer Mahendra Bahadur Karki, Mr. Bas Vandesburg, Mr. Birendra Bahadur Basnet, Mr. Sanjeev Shah, Mr. Kiran Sitaula, Mr. Rajesh Babu Shrestha, Mr. Chaitanya Nath Pandey, Mr. Krishna Bahadur Maharjan and Mr. Krishna Khadka for their valuable contribution to the school at different junctures of history.

Scholarship Selection Test, 2012

Scholarship selection test, postponed earlier, will most probably take place in the second half of Chaitra 2068. The exact date and test centres will be published on news paper and posted on this website as soon as the Ministry of Education finalizes it.

Class 5 scholarship selection test

It is very unfortunate that the scholarship selection test scheduled for 19th Kartik 2068 had to be cancelled upon the instructions of the Ministry of Education. Budhanilkantha School deeply regrets inconvenience caused by this to all prospective students, parents, teachers, government officials and everyone else concerned.

Adieu Mr. C. N. Pandey

Mr. C. N. Pandey retires from his service at BNKS after serving the school faithfully for 33 years. The school formally bade farewell to him on 1st August 2011. The school will remain deeply indebted to his invaluable contribution to the development of BNKS at various capacities, and he will be missed a lot. The school wishes him a prosporous and peaceful retired life.
